Stablecoin deposits and withdrawals

Stake’s help centre lists these stablecoin networks for deposits and withdrawals:

  • USDT: Ethereum (ERC-20), BNB Chain (BEP-20), Polygon, Tron (TRC-20) and Solana.
  • USDC: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Solana.
  • DAI: Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon.

Stake says it doesn’t support Arbitrum, Optimism or Base, so don’t send USDC from an exchange on those networks. Always copy the deposit address for the exact network you’re sending on.

Stake doesn’t publish a minimum deposit; its help centre only says deposits under $0.01 can’t be credited automatically. The minimum withdrawal is 2.5 USDT or 2.5 USDC, and Stake deducts a fee of 1 USDT or 1 USDC per withdrawal. The fee is a single figure per coin, not per network, and Stake doesn’t say how much of it is network cost. On a small withdrawal that adds up: taking out the minimum 2.5 USDT costs 40% of it in fees, while on 500 USDT it’s 0.2%. Fewer, larger withdrawals are cheaper. Stake’s help centre says there’s no maximum withdrawal amount.

Licence and safety

The Curaçao Gaming Authority’s own certificate page lists Medium Rare N.V. (company no. 145353) as the holder of licence OGL/2024/1451/0918, with the status Active, licensed since 9 June 2025, for the domain stake.com. Company, number and domain all match. The regulator’s October 2026 licence register lists the renewal as “assessment in progress”.

Two things worth knowing:

  • Ownership questions. In September 2026 Follow the Money reported on files leaked from the Curaçao regulator’s licensing system. It said officials at the regulator had questioned whether the registered owner of Medium Rare N.V. was its sole owner, and that Stake’s widely known founders weren’t named in the licence application. The regulator answered Follow the Money’s questions only in general terms, and no response from Stake was reported. The certificate showed the licence as Active when we checked.
  • 2023 hack. In September 2023 about $41 million was taken from Stake’s Ethereum and BNB Chain hot wallets. The FBI attributed it to North Korea’s Lazarus Group. Stake said player funds weren’t affected.

We found no regulator fines or licence suspensions against Medium Rare N.V. and no pattern of unpaid winnings; public complaint sites show a small number of unresolved complaints against a very large player base.

Stake’s terms list prohibited jurisdictions including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Alberta, and its help centre also names Italy and Switzerland. We couldn’t load the full list, so check the terms before signing up. The terms say using a VPN or proxy to disguise your location is a breach.

Provably fair games

Stake says its in-house Stake Originals, such as Dice, Plinko, Crash, Limbo, Mines, Keno and Hilo, are provably fair, so you can check each result against the server seed after the round. Slots and live tables from outside studios aren’t covered by this. Our provably fair guide shows how to check a bet yourself.

KYC: when you’ll need ID

Stake’s terms reserve the right to ask for identity documents at any time and to restrict withdrawals until you’re verified. It doesn’t publish deposit or withdrawal thresholds that trigger a check. Its help centre explains what it accepts: a high-resolution, full-colour photo of a valid ID (no screenshots), and sometimes a selfie holding the ID. Assume you’ll be asked before a larger withdrawal and have documents ready.

Bonuses

Stake doesn’t publish a standard welcome bonus with terms on its own help pages. It mentions a “Welcome Offer” redeemed with an offer code from a partner, without amounts or wagering rules. Ongoing promotions include rakeback, weekly and monthly bonuses, drop codes and a VIP programme. We haven’t summarised any bonus here because Stake doesn’t publish the terms in one place; read them in full before opting in.

Safer gambling tools

Stake’s “Stake Smart” section covers all four tools we look for, and you can set them yourself without contacting support:

  • Loss and wager limits: daily, weekly or monthly. Lowering a limit is immediate; raising one waits 24 hours.
  • Deposit limits: daily. Raising or removing the limit waits 24 hours; crypto sent above the limit is held back.
  • Break in Play: a cool-off of 1 day, 2 days, 1 week or 1 month, after which the account reopens automatically.
  • Self-exclusion: a minimum of six months; reopening needs a review by support.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Licence confirmed Active on the regulator’s own certificate page
  • USDT on five networks, including Solana, BNB Chain and Polygon
  • USDC and DAI as well as USDT
  • Self-service deposit, loss and wager limits, cool-off and self-exclusion
  • No maximum withdrawal stated

Cons

  • Flat 1 USDT / 1 USDC fee on every withdrawal
  • No published KYC thresholds
  • No Arbitrum, Optimism or Base support
  • No welcome bonus terms published
  • 2023 hot-wallet hack; reported licence conditions
Our takeStake’s stablecoin support and safer gambling tools are strong, and its licence checks out on the regulator’s register. The 1 USDT / 1 USDC withdrawal fee makes it a poor fit for frequent small cash-outs, and you should expect to be asked for ID at some point without knowing exactly when.
