Many crypto casinos also run a sportsbook, and you can fund it with the same USDT or USDC balance. Betting in a stablecoin means your stake and winnings are in dollars, not in a coin whose price moves while your bet is open. This guide explains how USDT sports betting works, where it differs from playing casino games, and what to check first.
How it works
- Deposit USDT or USDC to the site’s cashier exactly as you would for casino games: same network rules, same minimums. Our deposit guide walks through it.
- Your balance is shared or separate. Some sites use one balance for casino and sportsbook; others keep them apart. Check before you move money around.
- Place bets in your balance currency. With a stablecoin balance, a 10 USDT bet at odds of 2.50 returns 25 USDT if it wins (your 10 back plus 15 profit).
- Withdraw as you would any other balance, subject to the site’s rules on deposit wagering, minimums and ID checks.
Several sportsbooks we review also take USDT and USDC on cheap networks such as Polygon.
Why a stablecoin helps
A bet on a match that’s played next week stays open for days. If your balance were in Bitcoin, your stake and potential winnings would move with Bitcoin’s price in the meantime. In USDT or USDC, 100 is $100 when you bet and $100 when it settles. Our bankroll chart shows how much a crypto balance can swing over 30 days.
Things that differ from casino play
- Bonus wagering. Sports bonuses often have their own rules, such as minimum odds per bet. At Thunderpick, for example, sports bonus wagering is 10× while casino bonus wagering is 40×. See our wagering guide.
- Deposit playthrough. Some sites count sports bets differently towards the rule that you must wager deposits before withdrawing. BetFury, for example, requires deposits to be wagered once on casino games but three times on sports.
- Safer gambling tools may not cover sports. Winz.io’s loss and wager limits don’t apply to its sportsbook; Shuffle lets you self-exclude from casino, sports or both. Check what your limits actually cover.
- Different restricted countries. Some sites restrict their sportsbook in more or different countries than their casino; Wild.io publishes a separate list.
Where to bet with USDT
Most of the casinos we review also run a sportsbook. Our USDT betting sites list shows which ones, with their licences, stablecoin networks and fees, and flags any with serious problems in their history.

Keep it under control
- Decide a budget before you deposit, and set deposit or loss limits if the site offers them.
- Don’t chase losses by betting bigger or on games you don’t know.
- Live, in-play betting moves fast; it’s easy to place far more bets than you planned.
- If betting stops being fun, our responsible gambling guide lists free, confidential help.
