USDT and USDC both aim to be worth exactly one US dollar, and at a casino 100 of either is $100 to play with. The differences are in who issues them, how easy they are to buy where you live, which networks casinos accept them on, and the small risks behind each. Here’s a side-by-side look for casino players.

Which networks casinos accept
The coin matters less than the network you send it on. USDT on Tron is accepted almost everywhere but typically costs more to send than USDT on BNB Chain, Solana or Polygon. USDC is most often accepted on Ethereum, which can be expensive, but several casinos also take it on Solana, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum. Our deposit cost index shows current network costs, and these tables show what the casinos we review publish:

Ranked lists: best USDT casinos · best USDC casinos.
Risks that apply to both
- Brief de-pegs. Both have traded below $1 in market stress: USDC dropped sharply for a short time in March 2023 when Silicon Valley Bank, which held part of Circle’s cash reserves, failed. Both have recovered from such episodes, but they can happen.
- Freezes. Both issuers can freeze tokens at specific addresses, for example under court orders or sanctions. This rarely affects ordinary players.
- The casino. Neither coin makes a casino safer. Licences, withdrawal rules and complaint records matter far more; see our reviews.
Which should you use?
- If you’re in the EU, USDC is usually easier to buy and sell on a regulated exchange.
- If your casino only lists a network for one of them, use that one; sending the other is a common way to lose a deposit.
- If cost matters most, pick whichever coin your casino accepts on the cheapest network your exchange also supports.
- If you hold a balance for a while, consider the reserve disclosures above and keep balances at a casino small whichever you use.
