MetaMask is one of the most widely used self-custody crypto wallets, and you can use it to send USDT or USDC to a crypto casino like any other wallet. It started as an Ethereum wallet, so it handles Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum and Base, and it has since added Solana and Tron. This guide covers how to deposit from MetaMask, which network to pick, and the mistakes that cost MetaMask users money.
What MetaMask can send
- EVM networks: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base and other networks that use
0xaddresses. USDT and USDC on these are standard tokens; you may need to add the network and import the token. - Solana: MetaMask added Solana accounts in 2025, so it can hold and send USDT and USDC on Solana (SPL tokens).
- Tron: MetaMask added Tron in early 2026, including sending USDT on Tron (TRC-20). Older guides that say MetaMask can’t do TRC-20 are out of date.
Features roll out at different times on the browser extension and the mobile app, so check that your version shows the network before relying on it.
How to deposit from MetaMask
- In the casino cashier, choose the coin and network and copy the deposit address. Note any memo.
- In MetaMask, switch to the same network. On EVM networks the account address is the same everywhere, so it’s easy to be on the wrong network without noticing: check the network name at the top of the wallet.
- Make sure you hold the gas token for that network: ETH on Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base, BNB on BNB Chain, POL on Polygon, SOL on Solana, TRX on Tron. Without it the transfer fails.
- Send a small test amount of the stablecoin to the casino address, wait for it to be credited, then send the rest.
- Check the transaction on the network’s explorer from MetaMask’s activity tab if it doesn’t appear.
Which network to choose
Pick the cheapest network that the casino supports for your coin. Our deposit cost index measures what a USDT transfer actually costs on each network every six hours: BNB Chain, Polygon and Solana usually cost a fraction of a cent, Ethereum a few cents to a few dollars, and Tron (if you burn TRX) a few dollars. Our networks guide has a calculator.
Casinos we review and their networks
MetaMask works with any casino that accepts a coin on a network MetaMask supports. What matters is which networks the casino publishes:

Mistakes MetaMask users make
- Right address, wrong network. Sending on BNB Chain to an address the casino gave for Ethereum is the classic MetaMask mistake, because both use the same
0xaddress. See sent USDT on the wrong network. - Fake tokens. Tokens that appear in your wallet uninvited, or that you import from a link, can be look-alikes. Only send USDT or USDC that came from an exchange or a source you trust.
- Signing what you don’t understand. A casino deposit is a simple token transfer. If a site asks you to “approve” unlimited spending or sign an unfamiliar message, stop.
- “Connect wallet” isn’t a deposit. Some sites let you log in by connecting MetaMask. Connecting doesn’t send funds, but approvals and signatures can. Read every prompt.
- Your seed phrase. No casino or support agent ever needs it. Anyone asking for it is trying to steal your funds.

The same rules apply to any self-custody wallet: it must support the coin on the network the casino uses, you need that network’s gas token, and the network must match on both sides. Check your wallet’s own list of supported networks before you choose one in the cashier.
